Marek Wojtaszek

Hi, my name is Marek 👋🏻 Most of my life I was living in Cracow, Poland 🇵🇱. Currently living and working in Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺. I am a coffee enthusiast, cyclist, music lover. I was always passionate about technology and its part in our daily life. That pushed me to get a degree in Information Technology and further develop myself in that area.

I work as an Engineering Manager, leading cross-functional remote team in a multinational company. I am experienced in delivering high quality products, working closely with business stakeholders, engineers and designers. I am capable of managing all aspects of software development.

For nearly 10 years, I was working as an engineer. I had a chance to work on a small to large scale projects, from a startup-size to an "Alexa Top 500 Global Sites" listed page. I was working mainly with front–end technologies based on JavaScript like React, Redux, TypeScript, NodeJS. My responsibilities expanded beyond just writing code, and involved delivery, architecture, budgeting and mentoring to name a few.
